Environmental Grantmakers Association Fall Retreat

Environmental Grantmakers Association Fall Retreat

2019 EFP Cohort at the EGA Retreat in Napa, California

2016 EFP Cohort at the EGA Retreat in Jackson Hole, Wyoming

EFP opened to the doors for me to enter the field of philanthropy. Prior to the fellowship, I had little knowledge about this field or how it operated. Now, I’m able to leverage connections I’ve made through EFP to advance progressive funder initiatives and stay connected to a base of amazing changemakers (aka the fellows themselves).
– Gabriel Jones, 2016 Environmental Fellow

At the end of the summer, fellows may be invited to attend the Environmental Grantmakers Association (EGA) Annual Fall Retreat. Attendance at the retreat provides opportunities for fellows to meet and network with environmental funders, understand current trends in giving, hear from and meet with guest speakers, and attend programming on a variety of environmental topics. EGA provides opportunities for some fellows to share their work throughout the retreat. Fellows may also be profiled in the EGA’s journal. Fellows attended retreats in Jackson Hole, Wyoming; Seattle, Washington; Asheville, North Carolina, and Napa, California.

For more information on the EGA Retreat visit the EGA Website.
