Saachi Das Kuwayama recently graduated from the University of Michigan’s School for Environment and Sustainability with a master’s degree in Environmental Justice, Policy, and Communications. Her research explores the links between gender, water insecurity, and protest movements. Originally from the north side of Chicago, Saachi is a classical violinist, an amateur baker, and the proud daughter of Indian and Japanese immigrants.
